PAR Honda

PAR Honda was formed in 2005 and competes in Schoolboy and Adult motocross along with Enduro events. The team is owned and managed by Paul Rowlands; an ex British Quad racing Champion, British Enduro Champion and British Speedway Champion. Paul’s expertise on the off-road scene is extensive after being involved with the sport for over 20 years.

In 2004 Paul was involved in an incident at the Weston Beach Race which resulted in horrendous injuries, leaving him paralysed from the waist down. His enthusiasm for off-road sports has not faltered and he now focuses his efforts on getting the best out of his team.

In 2007 the PAR Honda ran a number of riders gaining numerous achievements, particularly Winning the British 4-Stroke Championship with Wayne Smith along with the following:

Winning the British BYMX Junior Championship 65cc
Winning the British BYMX 125 Championship
2nd British Elite Championship – 65cc
Winning British Elite Championship - 125cc
Winning British Elite Championship - 250
Winning British Under 21's Championship
3rd British Masters Championship Pro 125
Winning Dutch Supercross Championship

2008 will see the team focussing its efforts on the main British Championship, British Open Championship and around seven World Championship events.

This season’s line-up will see Jordan Rose and Ray Rowson contest their CRF450R’s in the British MX1 Championship, British Open Championship and selected World GP events. Shane Carless and Ashley Greedy will compete in the British MX2 Championship along with the Under 21 championship and Greedy will also try his hand on the world stage.

PAR Honda also will support Luke Hawkins who will contest his CRF150R and Edward Allingham aboard his CRF250R in the schoolboy series.

The Enduro team will field Lee Edmondson and Ashley Wood riding CRF250X’s.
