Steve takes win number five at Oulton

Despite still suffering the after-effects of his Mallory crash where he broke bones in his left foot, Steve took his Fireblade to another win today in the Metzeler National Superstock championship.

British Superstock - Honda (UK) Racing CBR1000RR Fireblade

1st position

"We had the best result we could have in the Superstock race: it's great to get another win and extend the series lead. I'm not in the best shape as I'm recovering from a broken foot and it's difficult for me, but the new Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade does make it a little easier. We've still got a Supersport race tomorrow and the second Superstock race to go. In the second Superstock race the plan will be more of the same, I've got a good lead but I can't afford to lose any points. I'm just grateful that I've been able to ride at all this weekend with the damage to my left foot."
