Steve Brogan's participation in tomorrow's race schedule at Croft is in doubt following two crashes in today's Metzeler National Superstock session.

Steve sits in second position for tomorrow's Superstock race, behind title-rival Jon Kirkham, but two crashes in that session has left the Liverpool rider with damage to his right foot, which could see him ruled out of tomorrow's races. With only his first session time recorded, he sits in 22nd on the grid for the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport race.

British Supersport - HM Plant Honda CBR600RR

22nd position - 1m 24.373

British Superstock - Honda (UK) Racing CBR1000RR Fireblade

2nd position - 1m 23.517

"I'm a bit sore at the moment and I'm also pretty gutted, but I have to be reflective about this, I've not made many mistakes so far this year but sadly today I made two in the same Superstock session. The first crash I went down at the second corner but was OK and carried on, but the second crash happened at turn one and it's damaged my right foot. The plan is to race and take the Superstock title, but what I need to do overnight is get the swelling down so I can get a boot on it tomorrow morning. After that we'll complete the first Supersport session and see how I feel. Fingers crossed."

Havier Beltran - HM Plant Honda team manager"We do have a bit of a worrying situation with Steve. He crashed in the Superstock session and again later damaging his foot so that brought an end to proceedings this afternoon and he wasn't able to improve his Supersport time. From what we can gather he's cracked two bones in his right foot, so we are waiting overnight to see how he is. The plan at the moment is to ride, if he passes a fitness test, the decision of which we will re-evaluate after warm-up."
