Team

HM Plant Honda’s British Supersport campaign continues with 2007 Superstock runner-up, Steve Brogan taking the reigns in 2008.

The team, formerly part of the Red Bull programme which nearly took Eugene Laverty to championship success in 2006 had it not been for injury, is excited by its new rider who achieved fourth and fifth placings in the 600 class last season as a wild-card entry.

In 2007 the team was liveried in yellow as Bike Animal Honda, fielded Ian Hutchinson who competed with some success for the majority of the season before stepping up to the Superbike class in replacement of the injured Leon Camier.

The same team also liveried in HM Plant colours continued with its relentless effort for wins showing dominance on the roads with John McGuinness and Ian Hutchinson taking victory in three of the four races at the Isle of Man TT in ‘07 and Dave Molyneux’s sidecar outfit winning both races in their class.

The CBR600RR is already a proven winner taking victory with Kenan Sofuoglu on eight occasions from 13 World Supersport race starts last year; propelling the Turk to championship glory with three rounds to spare.

28-year-old Brogan is excited by this year’s prospects and is relishing in the challenge of competing for one of the best outfits in British bike racing.
